Biography

I am 19 year old Journalism and Communications double major at The College of New Jersey. I have taken numerous classes over the past two semesters that I believe add to my knowledge. I have taken Public Speaking in Business and Government, Magazine Writing and Feature Writing just to name a few. My communication skills, drive to succeed and interpersonal skills will be essential to my success in the future.

After graduating from The College of New Jersey in May of 2012, I hope to pursue a Masters in Journalism from Dartmouth University. It has always been a dream of mine to become a TV News Anchor and I believe my undergraduate experience at TCNJ and my graduate experience at Dartmouth will help me achieve that goal.

I was extremely active in high school. I attended The Pennington School in Pennington, NJ, a co-educational day and boarding private school. I was an editor for my school's newspaper, an ambassador for the perspective students and a member of the spanish honors society. I was also a four year varsity softball player and captain my senior year.

My dad is in the Army National Guard and holds a politically appointed position. Because of my dad's involvement in politics I have met a lot of influential people and have made long-lasting connections with them. I feel blessed for the opportunities that I have been given in my life and I hope to continue making these connections.

My extensive resume is posted below listing my work experience, academic experience and volunteering.
